Or Kahlon

Or Kahlon is a world-renowned ballet dancer. He was the former soloist of the Royal Ballet of Spain and Nederlands Dans Theater. Or was the winner of the first season of So You Think You Can Dance, Israel. Leveraging his background in ballet, Or mastered the Pilates technique and has created his own unique flow-based choreography focused on technique & movement. Or has been training celebrity clients globally for over 15 years.

Carly

Carly is a Balanced Body certified Pilates Instructor who combines her 10 years of Pilates training experience with her love of contemporary movement to create dynamic and challenging choreography for her group classes and private clients. Be ready to move. Be ready to sweat. Be ready to look and feel great!

Adrienne

Adrienne was previously a world-class swimmer, representing & competing for Team USA on an international level for many years. As a Santa Barbara native, and lifelong movement enthusiast, Adrienne discovered her passion for Pilates as a private client of Or’s. That passion led her to becoming a Balanced Body certified instructor, and she has been teaching Reformer at Pilates & Or since 2023. You will find Adrienne combining functional movement patterns and cardio into her classical training, making her choreography contemporary, effective, and fun.

Katie

Katie has been using her certifications in pilates, barre, yoga, and indoor cycling to create classes and programs designed to tone, sculpt and energize the body. Katie’s clientele includes teens, retirees, pre/postpartum moms, professional athletes, PT rehab, and the guy or girl who just wants to feel better in 60 minutes. Katie’s classes make every client feel seen, recognized, and cared for. She is thrilled to share her contagious enthusiasm with her new community of Santa Barbara.

Mei-Ling

Mei-Ling’s classes will offer you a challenging yet accessible intro to ballet technique, mixed with pilates fundamentals and energetic conditioning— let’s get dancing! Her extensive background includes training with American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and guest teaching at universities internationally. She has performed professionally with various contemporary companies in San Francisco; in television, Mardi Gras parades, and with Arcade Fire; and most recently was a soloist with New Orleans Ballet Theatre. She currently teaches at State Street Ballet.

Lydie Gougaud

Lydie Gougaud is an energetic and experienced Pilates and dance teacher with over 12 years of experience in the Pilates industry as a mat and reformer teacher. Lydie was recognized for being the first trainer in the Pilates Suspension Method (PSM) and owning the first PSM studio in France. Lydie is now based in California and looks forward to delivering high-quality instruction and to spread her skills & knowledge through her classes. Kaylee Anne

When Kaylee lived in Argentina, she learned to love three things – the Spanish language, wine and Pilates. She began her certification there ten years ago, continued training in Mexico, and finished both Mat and Reformer modules through Balanced Body when she moved to Santa Barbara in 2021. She has been teaching full time ever since. A lifelong student of fitness and endurance, Kaylee competed in Division I swimming at Cal Poly SLO, completed a Half Ironman, and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro among other things. Her Pilates style is athletic, focused on strength and endurance, with some fun variations added in. She is inspired by the power of the human body to move, strengthen and evolve.

Mira Martin

Mira discovered her passion for Pilates in New York City, where she completed her instructor training and found the mental and physical balance for which she had always been searching. She aims to inspire and embolden students of all skill levels throughout their Pilates journey, offering a safe and positive space to grow physically and reset mentally. She challenges students with athletic and dynamic classes, emphasizing form and breath technique. Mira is a comprehensively certified Pilates teacher with expertise in mat, reformer, Cadillac, barrel, chair and more. Her goal is that clients leave feeling strong, refreshed and uplifted, whether it’s their first or 100th session. She can’t wait to meet you!

Jessica Gershman

Jessica is a RYT 500 hour certified yoga instructor from Indianapolis, Indiana who has trained all over the country from New York to San Francisco. Jessica found her place on the mat after the birth of her first daughter as a way to reconnect with herself and her body. What started out as a purely physical practice evolved into a way of life that led her to establish a private studio in her hometown and to later become the voice behind The Zen(ish) Mommy podcast, empowering women through honest conversations. As a new resident to Santa Barbara, Jessica looks to combine her passion for yoga and her love of fitness to invite everyone to step into their strength both on and off the mat.

Jodie Lindley

Jodie is a dedicated fitness enthusiast with years of hands-on experience teaching a multitude of fitness classes including Pilates Reformer, Bodyweight Strength Training, and High Intensity Interval Training. Let’s break a sweat, crush goals and enjoy the journey to a happier and healthier lifestyle together.
